I’m Erica Tredinnick, your Brentsville District School Board Member. A lifelong Prince William County resident, I was elected in 2023 to serve as your voice on the School Board.
Growing up with parents who served as a PWCS teacher and principal and as a County Police Officer and Chief, I developed a deep appreciation for education and public service. As a mom, I’ve been actively involved in my children’s education, and spent over a decade volunteering in our schools as a PTO President, Advisory Council member, and Teacher’s Assistant. These experiences inspired me to run for the school board to ensure our community’s values are represented, and to give parents a voice in their children’s education.
Since joining the board, I’ve visited every school in our district to better understand the unique needs of students and staff. I’ve championed teacher pay raises, supported parental rights, and advocated for clear discipline policies to ensure that our schools are safe places for children to learn, and teachers to teach. I’m proud to have supported initiatives like limiting cell phone use to improve learning, securing investments in our Brentsville school facilities, and expanding Career and Technical Education programs to prepare students for real-world success.
My goal is simple: to ensure every student has the tools, support, and opportunities to thrive. By prioritizing academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and extracurricular opportunities, I’m dedicated to making lasting, positive change for our schools, students, and families.
